Raw Bark Chips • Great for Aeration & Custom Mixes

These small-sized fir bark chips are natural and untreated, offering a coarse, porous texture ideal for orchid substrates, tropical mixes, and aroids. Because they haven’t been composted or heat-treated, they retain their raw structure, offering excellent drainage and air flow—but may resist water at first.

For best results, pre-soak the bark before use to help it absorb moisture more evenly.
