🔬Microbe Multiplier

The Ultimate Food Source for Brewing Actively Aerated Compost Tea (AACT)

Microbe Multiplier is a carefully formulated microbial food blend designed to support the rapid growth of beneficial bacteria and fungi during the brewing process of actively aerated compost tea. When added to your compost tea brewer, it fuels microbial activity, enhances nutrient cycling, and promotes stronger, healthier plants.

🌿 Why Use Microbe Multiplier?

  • Supercharges Microbial Growth
Delivers a balanced food source for both bacteria and fungi, creating a thriving environment for a well-rounded microbial population.

  • Enhances Nutrient Cycling
Supports the breakdown of organic matter, making nutrients more available to your plants.

  • Boosts Soil & Plant Health
Increases microbial diversity, leading to improved soil structure, stronger roots, and more resilient plants.

🛠️ How to Use Microbe Multiplier in Compost Tea

For best results, brew Actively Aerated Compost Tea (AACT) every 7–14 days using Microbe Multiplier as a microbial food source. Follow these simple steps:

  1. Use compost and castings blend in a brew bag.

  2. Mix Microbe Multiplier directly into the compost or castings in the brew bag.

  3. Zip up the brew bag securely before placing it into the water. Submerge the bag and give it a few gentle squeezes to help saturate the contents and activate microbial activity.
Note: Brew temperature matters — in colder rooms, microbial activity is slower and may require a longer brew time. Warmer environments will accelerate the process.

  4. Dissolve blackstrap molasses in a small amount of warm water before adding to the brew. This helps it mix evenly and prevents clumping.

  5. Add fish hydrolysate and dissolved molasses directly into the water.

  6. Ensure you’re using a properly sized air bubbler for the volume of tea you're brewing. Many brewing issues arise from undersized air pumps, which can lead to poor oxygen levels and suboptimal microbial growth.

  7. Aerate continuously for 24–36 hours using a compost tea brewer or air pump.

  8. After brewing, remove the bag and squeeze out the remaining liquid to extract every last bit of goodness.

  9. Apply the finished compost tea as a soil drench or foliar spray immediately for maximum microbial impact. Depending on your sprayer, you may need to strain the tea further or remove filters to prevent clogging.

  10. Reuse the spent contents from the brew bag by top-dressing your plants or adding to your compost pile for continued benefit.

  11. For the real soil geeks: Use a microscope to observe microbial activity and dial in your brew for peak biological performance.

Compost tea delivers living biology directly to the root zone—activating nutrient cycling, improving soil structure, and boosting plant immunity. When brewed with the right food source, like Microbe Multiplier, you’ll see the difference: greener leaves, stronger roots, and noticeably more vibrant, resilient growth. It’s one of the most powerful tools in organic and regenerative gardening.
