Medium Perlite is a sterile, expanded volcanic mineral that improves aeration, drainage, and texture in potting mixes and soilless growing systems. Sourced from naturally occurring amorphous volcanic glass, it’s heat-expanded to create lightweight, porous particles that help roots breathe and prevent compaction.
This chunkier 1–2 cm grade is ideal for custom soil blends where enhanced airflow and structure are needed—especially in large containers or for plants that prefer drier root zones and fast-draining substrates.
