Iron Sulfate – Ferrous Sulfate (FeSO₄·7H₂O)
Correct Iron Deficiencies • Reduce Alkalinity • Supports Chlorophyll Production
Ferrous Sulfate (Iron Sulfate) is a fast-dissolving, free-flowing mineral powder used to correct iron chlorosis and sulfur deficiencies in soil and plants. It delivers two essential nutrients—iron and sulfur—that play key roles in chlorophyll production, nutrient metabolism, and overall plant vigor.
This material is especially effective in alkaline soils, where iron availability is often limited. By supplying both iron and acidifying sulfur, it helps restore nutrient balance and improve the availability of other micronutrients.
🌱 Common Uses
-
Correction of iron deficiency (chlorosis) in plants
-
Soil acidification to reduce high pH
-
Turf management and lawn greening
-
Preventative or corrective applications in organic systems (with proper documentation)
💧 Application Guidelines
Always base application rates on soil tests or tissue analysis for best results.
In the Garden:
Apply 10–30 grams per 1 m² (10 ft²). Dissolve in water and apply directly to the soil.
Lawns:
Apply 60–90 grams per 1000 ft². Dissolve in 3–5 gallons of water for foliar or soil drench application.
Guaranteed Analysis
-
Iron (Fe): 20%
-
Sulfur (S): 12%
