Coarse Perlite – 3–15mm
Aeration • Drainage • Lightweight Structure
Coarse Perlite is a sterile, lightweight soil amendment made from naturally occurring volcanic glass. Heated at high temperatures, it expands into a porous, inert material that dramatically improves aeration, drainage, and soil structure—creating a more breathable root zone and helping prevent compaction.
This coarse 3–15mm grade is especially useful in mixes where airflow and fast drainage are key. It blends easily with other substrates to create well-balanced, free-draining soil that supports vigorous root growth and moisture regulation—indoors or out.
