This organic barley is used to make enzyme-rich sprouted seed milk, a powerful natural input that supports vigorous plant growth and soil health. Once sprouted and blended, barley releases a surge of active enzymes like amylase and protease, which help unlock minerals in the soil and make nutrients more bioavailable to plants.

 How to Use (Barley)

  1. Measure 50g of whole barley seed

  2. Soak in unchlorinated water + ¼ tsp soluble kelp for 8–12 hours (Kelp is Optional)

  3. Drain and rinse seeds 1–2 times daily

  4. Sprout until the root tail is as long as the seed (usually 1–2 days)

  5. Blend with enough water to create a smooth seed milk

  6. Optional:

    • Strain and use the pulp as compost or topdress

    • Or water it in unstrained—mulch bits are fine

    • For a cleaner finish, move mulch aside, pour solids underneath, and replace it

    • Worms love the leftover pulp too!

  7. Dilute with 16L of water and apply evenly to your soil or pots
