PUMICE STONE (1/8"-1/2")  

Pumice stone is created when lava is expelled from a volcano and begins cooling rapidly and dropping in pressure, this causes outgassing which creates little air bubbles throughout the stone. It is a lightweight, porous, long-lasting soil amendment. Our pumice stones come from a Canadian volcano located in British Columbia. 

BENEFITS: 

• Incorporated into soils it enhances aeration and drainage

• Similar to perlite but heavier so they don't float to the top of your soil 

• Its porous structure retains water and nutrients

• Allows airflow around roots and spaces for beneficial microbes to thrive 

• Stimulates the growth of mycorrhizae

• Does not compact or decompose over time, it builds long-term soil structure

• PH is neutral so it is ideal for growing any type of plant
