Optimized Depth
These beds are custom made and are 12" deep - optimized for our living soil systems in both commercial and home growing setups. Grassroots traditional beds are 18" deep and we found they can develop anaerobic pockets in the center when used on solid surfaces. We found 12" to be ideal for healthy aerobic growing conditions.
