Yucca schidigera is a desert-adapted plant traditionally known by Native Americans as the “Tree of Life” for its wide range of uses. Our cold-processed Yucca Extract is rich in natural saponins—plant compounds that act as surfactants to enhance water movement, nutrient uptake, and microbial life in the soil.
It’s a powerful tool for any grower—whether you’re gardening outdoors in dry climates, managing moisture in containers, or caring for sensitive houseplants and orchids indoors.

How to Use
Foliar Spray Adjuvant
Mix 1.25–2.5 ml per litre of water with foliar nutrients to improve spray coverage and nutrient absorption.
Soil Drench / Irrigation
Use 0.25–0.5 ml per litre of water to improve moisture movement and feed soil biology.
Wetting Agent for Hydrophobic Soils
Apply 1–2 ml per 4 litres (1 gallon) of media volume, or 180–360 ml per cubic yard. Dilute well for even application.
Yucca acts as a biological surfactant, thanks to its high saponin content. It helps nutrients and microbes spread more evenly through the soil, improves moisture distribution, and enhances microbial contact with the rhizosphere for better nutrient uptake.
🌊 Tip: Add Yucca Extract at the end of your mixing when combining with other amendments. It foams quickly when agitated—don’t run a bubbler after adding it! 😉
