Douglas Fir Bark
Natural Aeration • Long-Lasting Structure • Orchid & Tropical Substrate
Our Douglas Fir Bark is heat-treated and screened for consistent size and quality. These coarse bark chips create an open, free-draining medium that supports excellent airflow and root health—ideal for orchids, tropical plants, and any species that thrive in fast-drying substrates.
Because fir bark can initially resist water, we recommend presoaking before use to ensure even hydration.
